Our best wishes and sincere gratitude go to all who have walked, donated, & partnered with us in the many fundraising events of Kyle’s Heart. We are grateful to the many who have supported the mission of Kyle’s Heart, by helping others through giving.
Last year was a time of great change for the Kyle’s Heart Organization. We have accomplished much and we continue to move forward with great purpose.
Kyle’s Heart participated in numerous fundraising events throughout Ohio and in Florida. As the Executive Director, I have had the pleasure to participate in numerous events that spread the important message of organ donation.
For those of you who have participated with us in the American Heart Association fundraisers, we look forward to seeing you again on March 30th where we will once again be leading the pack at the Cincinnati Mini Marathon Event. We anticipate nearly 100 people on our Kyle’s Heart team to walk with our heart recipient, Jack. To learn more about this event click on Cincinnati Walk to visit Kyle’s Heart team site.
Now that 2008 is upon us, we aspire to grow the scholarship program for future gifting to graduating seniors. Planning is underway for the 2nd Annual Kyle’s Heart Golf Outing and we anticipate another outstanding event. I am honored to share with you that this year, the Kyle’s Heart Memorial Scholarship Fund will be offering 2- $500.00 scholarships at Bath High school the end of the 2007 school year, for those seniors who meet scholarship criteria.
Many have asked if they could make a donation on line, and soon the donate page will be expanded to help with that gifting. We thank you in advance for your desire to support us. We look forward to seeing you in Cincinnati March 30th.
Sincerely,
Executive Director
Carl L. Hunlock
Kyle’s high level of integrity and faith in God was an example of leadership that not only impacted his many friends both in the United States and England, but me personally as his father. The importance of giving from the heart to help others in need was clearly apparent to me after losing Kyle in a tragic accident.
Kyle’s foresight in becoming an organ donor and the impact of that choice has been profound. From this experience, I am compelled to spearhead the Kyle’s Heart organization and bring about the much-needed awareness of organ donation.
Our main purpose this past year has been to partner with the American Heart Association and Ohio Life Connection, to participate in awareness walks and speak to audiences about the importance of organ donation. To date, our efforts have been highly successful.
We are also involved in raising funds for the Kyle Hunlock Scholarship for graduating seniors. Our goal is to provide scholarships to students with high academic standards in the areas of Mathematics, Science, Chemistry, and Athletics.
I welcome you to join us in our quest to educate the masses about organ donation and to fund raise for the American Heart Association and/or Kyle’s Heart Scholarship fund.
I welcome your e-mail at master_mower@hotmail.com and look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Carl L. Hunlock
Executive Director
